Earth's Unique Fingerprints
Carley Nuzzo
My themes I chose for this project were trees and shadows. Upon deciding which ones I wanted to choose, I made it too complicated in my head. Trying to elevate the themes to make them as chaotic and exciting to look at; but as I kept going into ideas, I decided that I wanted to capture something natural. Something unique that emphasized the beauty in the world around us that we seem to take for granted.
One of my favorite things to do in the warmer months is lay under trees. Watch them dance in the wind and their shadows dance along with them. The intricate patterns that are created by the angle of the sun and how the light bleeds through the empty space. Each tree is different on this earth and casts a unique pattern onto the ground below it; leaving it's own one of a kind fingerprint; just like humans. Trees are ever changing and growing with time, and therefore, we may share more in common with trees than we might with some other beings on this earth.
